I posted this last week on my Facebook page, but since then, the need has grown.

Yes, this is my ex-husband, but he will always be in my heart and remains the most influential man in my life thus far, other than my father. But this isn't about me. He needs your prayers and your support. This isn't going to be an easy fight and having to worry about medical bills will only make it more difficult.

At the time I posted that with a link to his GoFundMe page, we knew that Keith had Stage 3 Lung Cancer. It took me a while to share the information, because frankly, I was on an emotional roller coaster as are his friends, family and loved ones. The entire time he was waiting for his biopsy, I was hoping and praying and frankly delusional about the spots that had shown up on his right lung, but the results confirmed the doctors' suspicions.

Then Friday, I got the call that things were worse. Keith and his fiance, Rebecca, had met with his doctor morning to go over his most recent and more in depth test. Cancer was found in his hip/pelvis area, ribs/clavicle and in the lumbar region of his spine. He was told he had Stage 4 cancer and that chemotherapy would start this week.

I don't tell you all this as a tale of woe. I post this as a way of asking for your support... for your prayers and monetary donations if possible. If you even just share his GoFundMe link, I'd be immensely grateful. I clearly loved this man with all my heart, even though our marriage didn't end up working out. He needs the support of his friends, family, co-workers, community, and yes, even his ex-wife. I hope you'll consider offering up a prayer.

Thank you!
