They came. They saw. They conquered. The Mudbugs kicked off their 2019-2020 season in a major way.

Ten years ago, I started working with the Mubdugs as their arena host. One thing I've learned after many seasons with the 'Bugs, is to not expect much from an early season Friday night game. Generally during early season Friday night home games, the 'Bugs are competing against the giant that is Friday night football, and that's a tough beast to slay.

That's just one of the many reasons I was blown away this past weekend.

On Friday night, their first regular season home game of the year, the Mudbugs put on a show on the ice, and the fans came out in droves, nearly selling out George's Pond. The 'Bugs opened their season with a 2-0 shutout victory in front of a midseason-like rowdy crowd.

Saturday night was round two and the Mudbugs turned it up a notch, winning in blowout fashion 6-1 in front of a lively Saturday night crowd.

The Mudbugs are back, and they're back in a major way. Don't miss their next home games, coming October 18th and 19th. Get your tickets now by clicking HERE.
