It's a tradition for Whole Foods so don't miss the first one in Shreveport.

Whole Foods in Shreveport is opening on November 16... I'll pause for your impending, incessant screams of delight. This is something we have been waiting at least a year for and now we're just one week out from those glorious doors sliding open. It looks like this is the only location in the Ark-La-Tex too. Before Whole Foods opens to the public, the store will participate in a tradition that has been long upheld by the company.

The Grand Opening Bread Breaking.

Beginning at 7:30 a.m., you'll enjoy complimentary free coffee, pastries and live music. Mayor Ollie Tyler was expected to help in the opening ceremonies. Also, the first 200 people in line to enter the store will be given a Whole Foods gift card, each with a secret dollar amount assigned to it. The card value amounts will vary from $10 to $100.

Whole Foods will then open to the public at 8 a.m.
