Spring Will Come Early, So Says Phil!

Punxsutawney Phil crawled out of his tree stump this morning in Gobbler's Knob and  what did he see?

Not  his shadow.  So,  according to legend, that means we're in for an early spring.  Yeah, right!

Tell that to the millions of Americans who are snowed in today.  There's even snow in the forecast for Shreveport, Thursday night and Friday.

• During Prohibition, Phil threatened to impose 60 weeks of winter if he wasn't permitted to drink!

Phil is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan; he sported a Terrible Towel in 2009 to celebrate the team's Sixth Super Bowl victory.

I wonder if  he's in Arlington yet?
