OK, I'll admit it. I like to watch Jersey Shore. There, I said it!

But not because it shows beautiful scenery. And not because it ever showed off the wonderful tourism.

No, I watched Jersey Shore because it made me feel better about myself!

As much as the cast drank, fought, and argued... It made me think "My life is normal!"

But a new study done by Fairleigh Dickinson University concludes that people who watch The Shore actually have a better impression of New Jersey!

They say that 43% of people who watch the show have a good impression of New Jersey. While only 41% of non-viewers liked New Jersey.

They also revealed that 69% of us have never watched a single episode.

And, while not in the study, I'm willing to bet that 99% of us believe that most of the show is staged!
