Living in a military town, this will warm your heart.

If you have a family member or close friend in the military, you know how difficult it can be without your loved ones. Deployments take a huge toll on our hearts, especially for our kids. For nine-year-old Addie Rodriguez, the absence of her father was almost too much to bear.

Until a high school senior stepped in.

According to Good Morning America, Addie was cheering on her team at a game recently. it also happened to be Parents' Day. Addie's father, a senior airman in the Air Force, was away for training and unable to attend the game and watch his daughter cheer. The squad had set up performances to do with each of their parents. The moms went first, then the dads. Addie began to cry when she realized her dad wasn't there.

That's when 18-year-old Matthew Garcia literally jumped into action.

As the other cheerleaders were hoisted onto the shoulders of their fathers and danced around, Matthew jumped over the fence and hoisted Addie on his shoulders. Matthew, a senior at Central Catholic High, had been in attendance cheering for his younger brother on the field.

Talk about a beautiful moment!
