I'm not usually one to complain about the sun. After all, I'm always putting listeners on the air doing the Sunshine Dance because everybody like a nice sunny day!

But I think I'm going to start some rain dances!

Or maybe sending Robert and Erin on a hunt for water.

While it's been nice not having to mow the grass, it's starting to turn an embarrasing shade of brown.

Don't believe in spontaneous combustion? Just look at the grass along I-20!!!

And with the 4th of July just around the corner, I fear it being too dry to set off fireworks.

I guess I could water my lawn, but I'd rather spend my money on something other than the water bill.

And it's not an option for some of us. Robert and Erin were talking this morning about residents living in Stonewall and Frierson being asked to conserve water.

With all this hot, dry weather, if you find yourself outside and becoming dizzy, you can eat some salt to help. According to the CDC, you can dissolve about a half teaspoon in a glass of water and drink it. Other tips can be found HERE.

And please, please, please... Don't leave kids or pets in the car!

Now, back to my rain dancing...
