Bedtime can be a real struggle for a family. Kids want to stay up longer because they think it's being "grown up." That's kind of ironic, given most American adults can't seem to get enough sleep. I digress. Children need a lot of sleep because their bodies are growing and developing. We know the human body does its best construction and repair work during sleep.
