I have a serious problem when it comes to buying beauty products... If there were a double, triple designation at Ulta, that would be me!

It doesn't stop with makeup though... it extends to skin care and hair care! Yep, it's an obsession and it's easy to see why the beauty industry makes billions!

Yesterday, my friend Rhonda posted on Facebook asking her friends for advice. Being a bunch of women, we all jumped in. We love giving advice, even when it isn't solicited! She wanted to start fresh with a new look and wanted to restock her makeup bag and was looking for folks favorite products. So, I decided to throw mine out there. After all, they keep threatening to stream our shows live and you'll see it all eventually anyway since I put my face on in the studio most mornings! Poor Gary McCoy, he gets to see the whole process!

Keep in mind, I have a revolving cast of favorites, so my top picks change all the time!!!

Foundation

Let's start with the foundation! I generally slap on some classic yellow Clinique moisturizer before leaving the house and their 'Smart' eye serum. When I finally open my make up bag, I generally prime first, followed by concealer. Then I use blend of the two Clinique foundations above, applying them with the fun Clinique Sonic applicator. I love it! It's a great all around tool and I use it for cleansing as well. I don't use a ton of foundation, just any problem areas I might have and then I touch up with powder where needed. FYI, I'm a total 'face sweater' so that's why I use CliniqueFit. It really holds up in the summer months in the heat, so if you work out a lot, give it a try.

1. Urban Decay Optical Illusion Complexion Primer 2. Models Own Face Base 3. Aveda Inner Light Concealer 4. CliniqueFit Workout Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 40 5. Clinique Even Better Glow 6. Clinique Superpowder Double Face Makeup 7. Clinique Sonic System with airbrush foundation applicator

To shape up my face, I usually contour with my bronzer, which is probably a no-no, but whatever! It's my face, I'll do what I like! I dig LimeLight products by Alcone. There are a ton of folks who sell it in town. I also use their highlighter and blush as pictured above. It's got great staying power and they colors don't change on your face. Another great alternative is Smashbox and Nars.

Eyes

I've been using these fun creamy eye pencils from Ulta a lot lately! They have a TON of staying power, I'm just not a fan of the lighter shades. If I'm going out, I'll usually punch them up with eye shadow. I love Smashbox, MAC and Urban Decay when it comes to eye shadow palettes because of their rich pigmentation. I also like my cheap Maybelline liquid pen for my eyeliner. I love thick cat eyes, what can I say? I use the MAC automatic pencil for everything else.

1. Ulta Beauty Cream Eye Shadow & Liner in Taupe of the World, Cup of Joe and Golden Opportunity. 2. Maybelline Master Precise eyeliner in black 3. Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara in jet black 4. I've been using Lipsense religiously for the last year or so but recently bought this on a whim and I'm digging it. It doesn't last quite as long, but I had to scratch that Ulta itch!
