Pump Prices Fall, Slightly
We’re paying about a nickel less at the pump today than we were a week ago. AAA’s Daily Fuel Gauge Report says the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in Shreveport/Bossier is $3.54. At this time last Monday, we were paying $3.59. Statewide, the average this morning is $3.57. Nationally, it’s $3.66.
The Heat Is On
This seems unprecidented. I lived in Dallas in 2003 and I believe we had more than 100 days in a row that the temperature was over 100. It's so memorable because in Dallas when the temperature is that high its public transit system initiates "Ozone Action Day."
