Well, birding, more commonly known in the USA as birdwatching is one of the fastest growing outdoor activities and if it's something you've thought you might want to do...well, now's your chance! Birdwatching (known commonly as "twitching" in Britain) is locally represented by The Shreveport Bird Study Group and along with The Wild Bird Center are giving you a chance to start your career as a twitcher by sponsoring a bird walk for beginners. The Wild Bird Store this Saturday morning at 8. It's located in the University Place Shopping Center (between Dress Barn and Tiger Town) at the corner of Youree Drive and East 70th Street.
