The Krewe of Centaur Rode Proud at Saturday’s Mardi Gras Parade in Shreveport [PHOTOS]
The Krewe of Centaur showcased amazing floats, great costumes and no small amount of Mardi Gras beads at their annual Mardi Gras parade in Shreveport this past Saturday (February 2). We were lucky enough to have the chance to ride in our own Townsquare Media Shreveport float during the event, taking in the sights and sounds of the estimated 200,000 people who showed up to party.

February 1, 2013 Shreveport has sent out a list of guidelines for the big parades this year. The Clyde Fant Parkway will close at about 7 tonight until 7 in the morning.
You are not allowed to stake off or reserve any public areas along the parade route until after 7am on Saturday

Krewe of Centaur Rolls in Shreveport This Saturday
January 28, 2013 It's one of the biggest parades in the region and it rolls this Saturday. The Krewe of Centaur parade kicks off at 4:30 in the afternoon. City crews have already started putting up police tape to block off areas along the parkway. Port-o-potties will be going u
