David Hasselhoff Embraces the Name ‘Hoff’, Ditches the ‘Hassel’?

After all, spelling his name was such a hassle. Get it?

We all call him the "Hoff" as it is,  but now it may be his legal name. David Hasselhoff dropped a bombshell on on Twitter when he said he was changing his name to Dave Hoff.

It doesn't appear he was being serious, but you never know.

“I’ve been wanting to drop the 'Hassel' from my life for years. Now I have made it official,” he declares in the clip, while holding what looks like a certificate of name change."

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if this is the real deal.
