I've had my toes in the sand, my butt knocked over by strong waves and a little sunburn on my neck, but so far my vacation to Destin, Florida has been spectacular! There is nothing more relaxing than being with friends on the beach or lounging by the pool. Tuesday was free beer, wings and cookies by the pool at our resort.  Does it get any better than that? We also had a "Jimmy Buffet" sounding guy serenade us.

And now for my fish story.

We went off to fish in the bay and grabbed a couple tubs of shrimp as bait.  We were not having any luck until I put a nice-sized bait on my line. A fish started tugging, so I tugged back. I hollered over to Keith and Jeff: "help!"  I'm not a fisher-girl (in case you couldn't figure it out).  Keith told me to keep reeling, which I do, and out on the end of my line is a catfish!

Unfortunately, there is no proof of my accomplishment. When Jeff got him off the hook (not something I was ever prepared to do), the guys told me he was too small to keep and tossed him back in. No picture, no fish kiss goodbye or anything.  I think he was about a 50-pounder, but you know how fish stories go!
