First Parade Rolls Monday

The Krewe of Harambee Parade rolls on Monday. Krewe members spent most of the weekend getting ready for the big day. Many of them made their own masks for the event. Each member will throw at least two African masks to the crowd.

If

you want to check out the parade, it rolls at 1 p.m. in downtown Shreveport, around the Municipal Auditorium. The theme for this year is "Harambee on Broadway."
