Japan Lives Hard With Soft Serve Beer
Summer is just around the corner and thanks to climate change, we’re looking at a scorcher. With the heat turned up, there are ton of ways one can stay cool but the best and simplest way is to just crack open a nice cold beer. Leave it to Japan to make that weird.
One Japanese beer maker has found an ingenious way to making the cold beer experience cooler for the hot summer months. They found a way to make the annoying foam into soft serve coolness.
Japanese brewer Kirin has created a serving machine that turns beer foam into insulation for your favorite icy cold beverage. The foam machine pours out a generous helping of frozen foam that is thick enough to keep its shake and keep the beer cold for an extra thirty minutes, but it’s malleable enough to let you enjoy your drink.
Definitely handy when you get stuck in an impromptu game of 20,000 questions.
