KEEL news has confirmed that a senior English teacher at Loyola College Prep was onboard the Costa Concordia cruise ship that ran aground off the coast of Italy.
Betsy Yates was onboard the ship with members of her family when the tragedy happened. She is now back in town and is expected back on the job at Loyola tomorrow. All members of her family got off the boat safely. Stay tuned to Newsradio 710 KEEL for updates on this story.
