Man Sets Gas Pump On Fire After Attempting To Kill Spider With A Lighter [VIDEO]

Kids...or in this case, adults...don't try this at home!!

Technically you're not supposed to use your cell phone while you're pumping gas, because it could spark and start a fire. And you're DEFINITELY not supposed to pull out a lighter while the gas pump is in your hand!! Guess this guy didn't get that memo...

A guy was filling up his car at a gas station in Michigan last week and he saw a spider.  And he decided to try to kill it by...using his LIGHTER. Unfortunately, instead of catching the spider on fire, he set the PUMP on fire!

The surveillance footage shows him grabbing a fire extinguisher and managed to put out the fire without too much damage and no injuries.

But I have to admit, there's no real word on the status of the spider.
