Marc Summers Reveals ‘Double Dare’ Slime Ingredients

Children of the 1980′s and early 90′s probably remember the TV show “Double Dare.”

And if you’re like me, you may not remember much about the show… Except all the green slime!

During it’s heyday, you could even buy little cans of slime. But it was kind of nasty, smelled of chemicals, and made everything it touched smell like chemicals too!

In all this time, Nickelodeon has never said what was in the slime.

But now, former host Marc Summers has spilled the secret to “Gourmet Live.”

According to Summers, “The base was vanilla pudding, applesauce, oatmeal, green food coloring, and by the third day, anything else that was on the obstacle course. Was it edible? For the first hour or so!”

It’s almost enough to make me want to go whip up a batch… After all, Halloween is just around the corner… And kids still like slime, right?
