Remember months and months ago when Nicole Scherzinger got fired from ‘X Factor,’ and everyone was all like, “But whyyyy?” No, right? Let’s clarify that: we remember her getting the ax very clearly, but we totally didn’t question it. Girl was a snoozefest.

Anyway, it looks like the ex-Pussycat Doll is getting a second shot at being an ‘X Factor’ judge. But don’t worry! This time she’ll be a judge on the U.K. version of the show and we won’t have to deal with her lackluster critiques, dramatic tears and making 12-year-olds cry (although we can’t really blame her for that one — neither could Rachel Crow!).

Today (June 15), it was announced that she has officially joined the show after she served as a guest judge for the London auditions. ”I’m so excited to join the U.K. ‘X Factor’ family,” she said in a statement. “It’s where I got my start, so it feels great to come full circle. I can’t wait to see what talent the U.K. has to offer and to help inspire and bring out the best in these artists.”

Nicole will be replacing Kelly Rowland as a judge on the panel, and will be reportedly making $1.1 million for her role as a judge. This news comes after Demi Lovato and Britney Spears were confirmed as her and Paula Abdul’s replacements on the U.S. version of the singing competition.
