The storm that blew through the Shreveport-Bossier area Wednesday night (7/23) caused power outages, property damage and one death.

Sixty-four-year-old Connie Wilson Johnson died of blunt force trauma from the collapse of the limb.

Neighbors told KSLA TV that Johnson was walking down the street when the wind picked up, and she turned back to head home when a limb the size of a tree itself came crashing down.

"I've been complaining about that tree for a long time, calling the city, asking them to do something about it," offered  Wilson's daughter, Angie.

A candlelight vigil in memory of Connie Wilson will be held on Thursday evening (7/24)
