SPAR Pool Open House Dates

SPAR and the City of Shreveport will host swimming pool open houses beginning this weekend for the 2015 pool season.

The open house dates are:
• Saturday, May 9 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Bill Cockrell Pool
• Saturday, May 16 from 1 1 AM to 1 PM at Airport Park Pool
• Sunday, May 17 from 2 PM to 4 PM at David Raines Pool
• Saturday, May 23 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Querbes Pool
• Sunday, May 24 from 2 PM to 4 PM at Southern Hills Pool
SPAR pool open house activities will provide youth and adults an opportunity to meet the lifeguards for the upcoming summer season. Shreveport Fire Department will also conduct water safety demonstrations.

Since May is National Water Safety month, the open houses are a great way to educate our community on the importance of pool safety as well as our upcoming swim season (including swimming lessons and water aerobics). The open houses are free and open to the public.
