Suzy Ryan was a one-of-a-kind woman. She lost her battle with cancer last year, and is being honored by the Krewe of Centaur during this year's Mardi Gras season.
Ryan was one of the driving forces behind Mardi Gras in the Ark-La-Tex. At this time of year, she would be consumed with putting on the very best Mardi Gras parade our area has ever seen.

Knowing how much impact she's had on the spectacular Mardi Gras celebrations, she will be sorely missed at this year's parade. "The Woo," as she was known by her family, is also missed by her loved ones and by the many organizations she worked with behind the scenes. Suzy Ryan was a life force of her own.
