Who Says Girls Can’t Play Football? Check Out These Local Shreveport Girls As They Take The Field With The Boys [Pics]
Some people say that football is supposed to be a boys sport and girls should just cheer from the sidelines. Well, these two girls don't agree with that statement at all!
Let us introduce you to two young ladies that are blowing that stereotype out of the water. Meet Savanna Yawn and Preslee Todd, both of which play for the South Highlands Magnet Elementary 2nd grade tackle football team.
Savanna Yawn, #1, starts on both sides of the ball as a running back and a safety. She is also the back-up quarterback. Preslee 'The Beast' Todd, #8, starts on defense as a nose guard - a position that is reserved for a person that needs to be fearless and loves contact.
