The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show has taken more than 50 special and deserving kids on a trip of a lifetime this weekend to Walt Disney World on the annual Kidd's Kids trip!

The trip started out Thursday morning at a private hangar at Love Field in Dallas. It was an opportunity for several Kidd's Kids families to get to know each other while the kids ran around playing games, eating and dancing. When it came time to board the plane, each Kidd's Kids' name was called and they walked down the red carpet while hundreds cheered them on to make that big walk up the stairs to get on the plane to Disney World!

Once on board the Southwest jet, the flight crew entertained everyone and they departed underneath a water arch because the Love Field Fire Department sprayed their water cannons over the jet as it taxied to the runway.

Thanks to your support throughout the year and on Kidd's Kids Day, this trip is a reality for kids that have a life altering or life threatening condition along with their immediate families.

The Kidd Kraddick Morning Show gave us a brief glimpse into the trip so far on the show this morning, but nothing like they and the kids and families are going to experience over the weekend. You can follow Kidd's Kids and check in to see how the trip is going anytime this weekend though the Kidd's Kids social media accounts:

Monday's Kidd Kraddick Morning Show is going to be a special one because the cast will be describing the weekend while families talk about their new discoveries.
