Governor Bobby Jindal Warns Westboro Baptist Church: Picketing In Louisiana Equals Arrest
According to al.com, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal said that members of Westboro Baptist Church will be arrested if they attempt to protest the funerals of the two women killed in last week's tragic Lafayette movie theater shooting.
"If they come here to Louisiana, if they try to disrupt this funeral, we're going to lock them up. We're going to arrest them. They shouldn't try that in Louisiana. We won't abide by that here. Let these families grieve."
And in response, the controversial church has released a number of tweets that clearly promote the protesting of the funerals.
Residents in Lafayette have vowed to stand guard to prevent church members from nearing any funerals.
