KVKI Asks, ‘What Is Your Favorite Christmas Song?’

I LOVE Christmas. This time of the year is my favorite. Labor Day is the unofficial end of summer. Once Labor Day is over I look forward to fall and football and there is growing excitement for Christmas. While Christmas trees, lights, ornaments, gingerbread houses, cookies and sweaters (hopefully the temperatures are cool in Louisiana) are all important parts of the season's festivities, there is one part that is an absolute must...Christmas music. Thankfully, I work at Townsquare Media and get to listen to Christmas music from Shreveport Bossier City's Christmas Station, KVKI. I cannot get enough! The music fills the hallways along with smiling faces from my co-workers and lots of law enforcement who are here around the clock working hard for Operation Santa Claus.

While listening to the tunes, I began to wonder what is the best Christmas song? There is no way being a lover of Christmas music that I could choose one favorite Christmas song. My taste in Christmas music is pretty traditional I like the classic Christmas songs by Andy Williams, Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong and Judy Garland, I also like the Diana Krall Christmas album and I could never forget about Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and George Michael. Nope, I could never choose just one. That did not stop me from asking my co-workers what is there favorite Christmas song. Check out their answers in the video above.
